Want to see more of what the Royal Resorts has to offer? As a member of your home resort, you have exchange privileges with your own resort and other spectacular destinations in México, Curaçao, Aruba, and St. Maarten.


There are no annual fees. Only pay upon making a successful match! Click here for a list of applicable fees.

The program is designed to find another week (provided by another member) that fits your travel requirements.

If a successful match cannot be confirmed thirty-one (31) days prior to the week that you are seeking or the week that you own, whichever comes first, the search will be canceled so you can make alternative plans. If confirmed, an exchange fee will apply.

If you are submitting two or more units or require consecutive weeks, please contact a member of our customer service department. One of our representatives will be delighted to help you.

Once your unit is enrolled into the internal exchange program, verify the status periodically. If the status reads “pending” this means none of the options you selected are currently available. In that case, you can select the Instant Match option. This will display other options you did not select but are available. This is a great way to create an instant confirmation.

  1. Only units submitted by members in good standing of an affiliated resort are available for this member-to-member exchange program. Confirmed exchanges are based on sleeping capacity. You have the option to request a lower sleeping capacity.
  2. Units deposited in the rental and or resale programs are not eligible to participate in the exchange program.
  3. The exchange program is fully automated through a propriety computer system. In some cases exchanges requested during holidays and other high season periods will be more difficult to confirm.
  4. Unit location is not a priority; a beachfront unit may be confirmed into an off-beach unit, for example. Unit assignment cannot be guaranteed.
  5. For the interval/week requested or the interval/week owned, whichever occurs first, exchange requests may be submitted a minimum of 76 days prior and a maximum of 12 months from today’s date. Interval Servicing will acknowledge receipt of the exchange request via e-mail. Seventy Five (75) days prior to the interval/week date requested or the interval/week owned, whichever occurs first, all pending unconfirmed requests will be cancelled.
  6. A non-refundable administrative fee applies once the exchange is confirmed.
  7. Once an exchange is confirmed the trade is FINAL. You may cancel an exchange request only prior to a confirmed exchange. A confirmed exchange cannot be cancelled as subsequent confirmed exchanges would be affected.
  8. Exchanges may not be rented or externally exchanged.
  9. Should the confirmed exchange become inconvenient, a new exchange (re-trade) request may be submitted with an additional exchange fee (applicable fee applies) using the confirmed exchange as the offered unit.
  10. Exchanges will only be enrolled when the club service fee/maintenance fees and membership payments are current. The club service fee/resort maintenance fee must be paid prior to the beginning of the interval/week owned or prior to the confirmed exchange interval/week start date, whichever comes first.
  11. Exchange requests cannot be processed if the unit is in any of the following programs: (a) any rental program, (b) any resale program, (c) any other exchange program including but not limited to Interval International (I.I.) or Resort Condominiums International (R.C.I.).
